Online retailing | feelunique.com

I always had a thing for online shopping of all kind. It’s not just because the practicality of all process or the variety of products found nowadays. It’s a vast and interesting market indeed. And it’s necessary to be savvier than ever.

But I truly agree it’s not that easy to find a fine product for the very affordable price. Because let’s be honest, it’s easy to find cheap stuff for good price.

Despite having its main physical shops in the Channel Island, Feel Unique has proven its competence on e-commerce for the last decade. A business founded in 2005 that is currently Europe’s largest online premium beauty retailer.

The title is fancy but it certainly makes a lot of difference in service when you offer premium beauty products the way they do.

“But our goal is not to be the biggest, it’s to become the household name”, said Aaron Chatterley, CEO and Founder of FeelUnique in 2013 to the StartUp.co.uk.

And yes, in my opinion, FeelUnique delivers what is promised. Most of the time.

Brands: There are 18.500 products available on the website that goes from cult and luxury designer labels to the best products you can find it in the high street shops.

Delivery: Quick dispatch, I mean very quick dispatch and a worldwide free delivery on orders over £10. They are shipping with Hermes and I am quite happy with the service until now.

Prices: Let’s get the products from Luxury Hungarian brand Omorovicza , for example, that is expensive anywhere else. A quick google search is enough to see there is no comparison outside. The prices of these products on feelunique are unbeatable.

For me, the site is working like my private Estée Lauder shop because for dermatologic reasons, I was highly recommended not wearing too much different face products. And Estee Lauder is the only brand that makes my skin healthy and protected.

Packaging: Practical, discreet and 100% recyclable. They use boxsizer system, which is an intelligent and sustainable way of packaging. One of my pet hates is definitely spending much time unfolding carbon boxes for recycling and FeelUnique boxes seem to nail it.

Bit & bobs: I just love all the freebies that you get from your purchase. It’s an excellent way of trying that new perfume without buying the 100ml bottle of it. It’s fact that 2ml is all you need to see if the product is food as you expected.

Promotions and gift cards are also another bonus at FeelUnique. And the gift set and built boxes available at the website are very attractive as well.

Odds: As any e-commerce business, feelunique has its problems. I never had to use its customer service but I read some negative reviews about it. So it’s good to keep an eye on it.
