Inner peace is a state of mind, some might say. But how can one achieve it on daily basis when you barely have time to breath in and out.
Looking for something to keep us calm and zen becomes a less difficult task when you visit Zen shop. And there are two of them in Birmingham: Moseley and Digbeth.
The history of this inquisitive shop goes back over 20 years ago, when its owner Sylvia Chandler, open the spiritual shop in Corporation Street by the name of Serenity. Later on moving to Brindleyplace, already with the name of Zen.
In 1998, the shop opened its doors in Moseley and 2010 in Digbeth.
The purple façade is well-known in both communities of Birmingham. And I personally always pop around now and then for a refill of my favourite incense Heaven Scent when it is re-stocked.
Or even just to have some energy renewed by stepping inside. Believe me, the energy of this place is rather special.
And Zen is definitely not just a perfect place to find items such as candles, crystals, chakra products, oils, books or incenses. It is also a place to relax and enjoy many healing services such as tarot and palm reading, holistic massages and other treatments for the body, mind and soul.
