De-stressing with Optrex Warming Eye Mask

We know trouble sleep is never a good sign. Stress is one of the symptoms that can affect your sleeping pattern for good. A bad night of sleep can change your routine, mood and health. Fortunately, there are many tricks on the market that can be helpful to that moment when you just need to shut your eyes and relax your tired eyes.

I have tried many of them. From “sleep deep” sprays to earplugs to block the outside noise.

After long work shifts and hours in front of computer screen, I really deserved to relieve and relax my eyes. And being on holiday in Brazil visiting my family this month was the perfect moment to recharge my batteries and try my sample of the new Warming Eye Mask by Optrex.

Overall Experience:  I had two masks to try, both fragrance-free. The first one was done in a calm ambient with lights off in my bed. Simple like that! And I must say this mask is really a good surprise. It starts to warm up instantly when opened and as soon as I had it on my eyes shut and started to switch off mentally. It worked well.

Its micro steam technology works as a moisten treatment to dry eyes, and the heating is not uncomfortable at all. Only 10 minutes of gentle soothing steam can really help to relax. At least, I felt a bit of difference in my sleeping night compared to the previous ones here.

The second mask was used while I had some quality music on, listening to the renowned DJ Ash Sargent’s playlist on youtube. An exclusive experience offered by Optrex itself to take your relaxation to another level.

And while DJ Ash was working his musical magic, I enjoyed a truly calming “me-time” session listening to the 10 minutes of total relaxation track Big Departure that you can also listen to here.

This Warming Dry Mask is very welcomed as a convenient use on-the-go product while travelling or before bed. It’s not the most fashionable designed mask, but it does the trick. Besides, there is a lavender scented variant available in the retail too.

As a disposable product, you may find its real value for money too because the RRP is £ 3.99 per a package with 2 masks.

    ActiMist 2in1 Eye Spray

This month, I had the chance to try the ActimIst Eye spray by Optrex too. I never thought that dryness and eyes irritation could be something so serious. And I was shocked to know that British people spend on average more than six and a half hours a day staring at computer screen.

I usually spend a lot of time under strong lights on a computer screen too and it’s inevitable to escape the terrible effects it can cause. Especially being in Brazil this month, when the climate is dry and hot.

I have brought Actimist with me on my holidays. And I usually wear it four times a day to relieve, refresh and revive my eyes during the day here. I love the fact it’s a straightforward product – you just need to apply it with your eyes shut. Voilá!, another winner! I feel like brand new.

Actimist 2in1 Eye Spray is available at all good pharmacies and grocery stores for the RRP of £15.99.
