Get Buzzing – healthy snacks 100% natural

January was always internationally known as: “I will stop eating crap” month. We get it. But the truth is that it takes a while to go back to the routine after Christmas festivities and there are still too much chocolate boxes left in the cupboard to be ignored. Resistance is just futile!

Trying to find my balance and get ready for a new year of more food habits changing, I put myself forward to try and review some Get Buzzing energy and protein bars this month.

On first sight, it didn’t seem to be any different from other snack bars we usually see on the shelves of the supermarket. Their concept is simple: making honest, tasty and real food in a bar that is also nut free, with zero additives, preservatives and colourings. Ok, not that simple

I received a box of Get Buzzing bars with no lack of generosity on it. I practically have snack bars to last a couple of weeks. So, I have decided to try them during mornings and afternoons, which are my busiest time of the day. I also got them out with me during my exercises out. As a suitable product for vegetarians, I was quite happy to try them all as soon as possible.

A working booster

I work remotely as a language teacher and my work demands being on the computer most of the time, sometimes I have short intermissions between a class and another. It is when the mini-bites were very handy in this because it is exactly what I can eat in between lessons. When I was not eating some fruit, the snack bars were a life saver. Just a quick fix to get back to work and go through the day.

My husband took some to his workplace too. He said it was a perfect snack to get during the day as his job demands being on feet all day long.

Working out & buzzing

I have tried the protein bars after my weekend winter walks as well. It is a practical snack to carry when you are out anyway. It also helped us to make the most of our working out because the flapjacks are a big chunk of energy indeed.

Meet the buzzers

There are plenty of different flavours to choose between flapjacks and high protein nut bars. I like the idea of people behind of this product being knowledgeable about sporting nutrition as well. It certainly gives Get Buzzing more credibility as a healthy snack bar.

And it also will live up your expectations about this product as well. The brand mind behind Get Buzzing is known as Kate Wallace; a fitness and health style lover that founded the company 2009.

My favourite one(s)?

To be honest, those bars are full of flavours. Most of them are fresh and crispy. But the Mint-Chocolate High Protein is a winner. It is absolutely delicious, and I couldn’t have enough of it. It is also known as the first gluten-free bar by Get Buzzing. So, double-winner! I would buy these snack bars again.

It is great to know the market for health food enthusiasts is full of products that can succeed our expectations. It is not the first all-natural snack bar on the market, but it is definitely the ones to remember next time you are out shopping for healthy products.
