Norway for adventurous athletes

Norway is the perfect place for adrenaline enthusiasts. Its geography and climatic conditions create a perfect backdrop for extreme sports, with mountains, fjords, rivers, waterfalls and much more. The activities in Norway range from a quiet mountain trail, with breath-taking sights, to mountain biking or leap from wingsuit.

By land it is still possible to carry out different modalities of skiing and climbing. And in the waters of the fjords and rivers, canoeing, diving and rafting can be practised. The possibilities are endless in this adventure paradise.

Monaco for beginners

For the beginners (athletes), and not so much of action, Monaco is the perfect destination at any time of the year. Every month there’s some sporting event going on in the country. The experience of being there and watching a race, a game or a match is unforgettable, especially with the Mediterranean as a backdrop.

In January, for example, when the exciting Monte Carlo’s rally takes place. In February, the eyes are all facing the sea, where the regatta is the Prime Cup, followed by the Monaco’s run race in March.

In April and May, the biggest sporting events take care of Monaco: Monte-Carlo Rolex master’s and the Grand Prix of Formula 1, which attract aficionados for sports from all over the world.

Monaco Classic Week gathers classic boats that, among other activities, participate in competitions at Port Hercule in September. At the end of the year, in November, another race, cross du Larvotto, crosses the streets of the country.

 Seychelles for sports in nature

Seychelles is an amazing natural paradise for athletes who enjoy outdoor activities and being in touch all the time with nature. A good request is to make a trail on one of the 115 islands of the country and have incredible views all the way.

Other very popular activities among travellers are water sports, such as diving – including the season of the fascinating whale sharks – snorkelling, kayaking and even surfing, at sometimes of the year. The preserved nature is the great highlight of the Seychelles Islands and the paradisiacal scenery is inspiring for sports.
