Oh dear! I just went back from beautiful beaches in Portugal a couple of weeks ago, and I wish I had this sand-free towel with me that time.
Yes, you heard it! It’s a sand-free beach towel. Imagine the next visit to the beach less sandy than ever? A dream that is possibly coming true now!
The Australian company Tesalate has developed an innovative beach towel that are sold in over 130 countries. Wow. I am glad to be someone chosen to review those beauties. Yay!
There are several different patterns and designs of towels, but I have chosen the Muertos Mambo (£49) because its unique style and vibrant colours. It seems to be the one of their bestselling ones. So, I can’t be wrong!
First Impressions – Packaging & Delivery
I am not going to lie, it looks like it was delivered pretty quickly. In less than one week I had my towel delivered, and I had how to track my order via email during all time since my purchase. Simple and easy.
This sand-free towel comes with a lovely tote bag that is all you need when carrying things to the beach. I just loved it.
A packaging that probably will keep it protected for longer. It has plenty of room to fit the product inside it without squash it. The towel was folded up and wrapped up in paper and it arrived intact.
Here’s the unboxing:
Fabric & Design
All those towels are made from AbsorbLite fabric that allow the sand to slip off easily. This way “the beach stays at the beach”. Besides, being ultra-absorbent, it dries quickie than the regular towels.#
I love the fabric. It has a quality material and it looks super resistant. I can imagine taking this towel not only to the beach, but also using it at parks. Even in a rainy day it would work perfectly in wet surfaces because it can retain up to a litre of water.
The design is gorgeous indeed. I couldn’t choose better. As both sides have different patterns, it makes this towel versatile as well. It’s so compact that can fit easily in the tote bag, handbags and luggage.

So far, so good. It’s elegant and functional. As I am going to Brazil in May, the biggest test will be using it on the beach in Santos.
