Toilet training is an incredibly important part of a toddlers life, but it is also a period of time that is dreaded by all parents. Whether you’ve had children already or you’re dealing with your first toilet training experience, know that you are not alone!
Each child is different and each child has their own difficulties during the toilet training process. Common problems parents face with toilet training include:
Lack of communication – toddlers may often forget to tell mummy or daddy they need to use the toilet, resulting in accidents.
Resistance – many children may be reluctant to use their potty. This is because it is something new, something they are not used to.
Confusion – children may remember to use their potty at some times, but have little accidents other times. Don’t worry though, this is completely normal.
