Mal Paper Daily Goal-Setter Planner | Review

I’ve been flirting with online calendars for quite a long now, but the truth is that I can’t get used to it. I barely touch my google calendar on my smartphone or computer, it definitely doesn’t work for me.

The real thing is, I need to have a paper planner to stay organised with plenty of space to make extra notes, record my thoughts and plans for the following weeks.

As a stationery addicted, I’ve been using paper planners, notebooks and monthly scheduler notepads for years.

But it’s the first time I had opportunity to have a memory keeping one. And I was super excited to have a go at this Daily Goal-Setter Planner by Mal Paper.

It’s a simple and effective way of organising your thoughts and important tasks of the day. Besides, a positive mindset is everything we need to keep us motivated every single day.

It looks like we have a match! I think keeping positive and grateful is an important part of organising thoughts daily. Counting blessings and taking time to understand that not every day will be as productive is part of life’s game!

I’m glad Mal Paper understands it as well. So, here we go with my review of this product.

What is a Daily Goal-Setter Planner?

Lets say, it’s a kind of “free canvas book” that will help you to list short, medium and long-term goals, at the same time you can organise thoughts, optimise your potential, and of course, celebrate small or big achievements.

Or how Mal Paper call it, a productivity gratitude planner. Yep, agreed!

It’s all explained in the first pages of this planner. Mal Paper uses the S.M.A.R.T (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Timely) method to help you set those goals. There are tips on morning routine productivity, gratitude thoughts and daily tasks itself.

I can confess that kept motivated instantly. Even before starting using the planner itself. I know, I am totally sold!

Design

Let’s have a moment here to contemplate the built of this daily planner. No joke. It’s stunning and minimalist. Exactly what I would expect of a Scandinavian design. I’ve chosen the grey one and I couldn’t be happier with my choice. You can also go for the black or pink one.

This is hardback planner made with PU Faux Leather Softback Cover with gold embossed details. There 256 pages with 100gsm on ivory pages and it also has 2 ribbon dividers and a couple of more features like a document holder. What a beauty!

It’s gorgeous from top to bottom. They are available for £20.95.

My experience so far

I’m using this planner since early September and I couldn’t be happier with the result. It’s true that I have skipped some steps like filling up more long-term goals or giving me more time to work on my evening routines.

But I have focused on positive thoughts with more frequency, and it has given me a positive boost in my morning.

It may be silly, but I do feel more motivated. I do love writing and taking notes, anyway. So, any opportunity of putting my thoughts on the paper is also a time for relaxing and be grateful. I usually do it with a nice cup of coffee next to me, of course.

I can see the importance of setting realistic goals and not being frustrated if there is a day with not 100% of achievement.

I absolutely love to go through the daily routine of choosing the 3 things to be grateful for…It’s something we should be doing with planner or not. And it has helped me to focus on what is important in life.

Setting realistic and relevant goals also helps me to avoid the general frustration of more and more demanding modern life.

Overall, I do love being able to work on my mindset in such a fun way at the same time I work on my tasks and thoughts here. It do recommend this planner to everyone out there that are looking for a bit of organisation inside and outside your mind.

I received this product complimentary from Mal Paper for testing purposes.
