When I was young, I was fascinated by messenger bags. They looked retro, stylish, but something that would be quite unusual to see in the shops in my country.
It looked like a bag that people would wear in winter in the UK, not in sunny Brazil. So, when my best friend moved to London, I have asked her to bring me a typical messenger bag. It was huge and I wore it out during four years of my university days.
When I moved to the UK a couple of years later, I could buy some satchel bags. But only now that it looks like I found the one to call “my favourite”.
This month, I was lucky enough to picked to review some items from Rydale – an online shopping and family business inspired by the passion form country lifestyle since 1954.

I just love everything related to the countryside, and I do confess that it was a bit difficult to choose only one model. Most of the bags are gorgeous – but here is my match!
What did I make of it?
My pick was a gorgeous Ladies Lucy Tweed Messenger Bag. The type of versatile bag that is perfect to use it when working in the city or on a weekend trip to the countryside. They are available on two models – Sally and kate.
The practical popped magnetic poppers make it easier and quicker to handle any item inside the bag.
It’s very useful for when we are in a hurry and just need to grab your keys or wallet quickly. By the way, it’s a quite spacious bag with four pockets inside and an external one.
The adjustable straps are made of soft leather with a retro pattern that brings a more charming touch to this messenger bag. Just gorgeous. It’s firm and comfortable to wear even when you have to carry books and other heavier items.
Overall, I’m in love with this messenger bag. I loved its vintage design with a tweed mix – Meaning- it’s a classic with a bit of modern twist!
And considering it’s made of genuine leather, it’s a quite reasonable priced bag. Plus, they delivered it in only two days. It’s all approved Rydale. I will go back for more.
