Walk Before You Run – But Wear the Right Shoes

Shoes are shoes are shoes, aren’t they? And walking is exactly like running, but slower, isn’t it? If you spend a lot of time on your feet, for work, exercise or other reasons, these are two beliefs that you should strongly consider letting go of. Let me tell you why.

Shoes for walking

Walking is possibly the most natural movement for a human being, but spite of this, many people still experience painful joints and alignment issues  joints or alignment, it may be due to many underlying factors, but a good start for correcting those issues is to examine your footwear.

The first rule about walking correctly, is to get rid of the idea of “cute” and to opt for “purpose” instead. Your feet will thank you if you choose a solid pair of shoes whose job is to last, support and comfort your feet, no matter how much walking you choose to do.

The perfect walking shoe is of medium weight, sturdy construction, and designed to adapt their shape around the shape of your feet over time.

If these checkboxes are ticked, you can look forward to walking many comfortable miles in shoes that do not restrict the blood flow in your feet, or pinch them, resulting in blisters.

Best of all? Modern walking shoes are becoming better-looking with each design, as people become more health-conscious and the demand for a good-looking, comfortable walking shoe has increased.

Shoes for Running

Running shoes are known for being available in wide ranges of designs, but the nature of running means increased wear and tear, which could have you heading for that stack of Nike shoes for sale  looking for a new set of running shoes sooner than you thought.

More lightweight than walking shoes, running shoes are designed to protect the feet without hampering the performance of the runner.

The sole of a running shoes takes the most punishment, and as such, it is advisable to go for a shoe that is able to break and distribute the impact from running, and so to mitigate the effect on the runner’s joints.

There is no limit to the shapes, colours and styles of running shoes, and the evolution in technology has led to a point where most shoes are “good” shoes, and your chances of finding the right running shoe for you is very good, no matter what your requirements and budget might be.

There’s a shoe for every job, and a job for every shoe, and it’s as simple as picking the right shoes for the environment in which you intend to wear them.

If you assess the reason why you want to buy the pair of shoes, it is relatively easy to find the right shoe for the job without breaking the bank.

Of course, if you feel like a splurge, and you are able to, the sky is the limit when it comes to the walking or running shoes of your dreams. As long as you know what you want and why, let the choosing begin!
