We are back to some pairing wine & food series. This time, I have challenged myself with the idea of reproducing one of my favorites’ recipe – Julia Child’s famous Beef Bourguignon.
As you can imagine, Julia was a quite fascinating woman. Her life and culinary skills inspired many females out there. Her beef bourguignon is a classic recipe mastered with talent and elegance.
For this meal, I have chosen an also classic and elegant wine – a Peter Zemmer Pinot Noir Rolhut 2019. This is a velvety wine produced in Alto Adige – the German-speaking part of Italy. This bright wine has aromas of raspberry, blueberry muffin and dried cranberry.
I have used Brazilian red meat for this dish to give it a special touch. Plus, the whole process of cooking and pairing this amazing wine with this famous recipe was filmed in a gorgeous cottage in North Wales.
