When I think about Australia as a travel destination, what comes to my mind is -road trip. I imagine myself hiring a motorhome to help stretching my adventure for several parts of this huge country. After all, if you are going to fly to this fascinating and remote part of the globe, it is better to make the most of it.

For this reason, better than choosing a single city to visit, what about to go the must-do experiences in Oz?

Beer Experience in Melbourne

It is a fact; Melbourne is one the most vibrant cities in Australia. There is so much to explore that you may need to cut stay longer than expected. Along with its natural attractions, Melbourne is packed with cutting-edge culture and arts activities.

If you are a craft beer lover, the guide tours of bespoke micro-breweries and hidden bars can a goof match for you. Discover what local Melburnians drink and learn about the gold rush with a drink-in-hands.

Music Concert in Perth

You know what? My favourite current bands come from Perth in Australia. I have seen Pond in the UK, but it would be great to see Tame Impala someday. With this said, it is expected to say that it would be great to watch some music concerts in my list of must-do experiences in the country.

Perth is boosted with amazing music venues, museums and renowned galleries attending and the city hold epic festivals, embracing Australia’s quirky cultural attractions.

Street Art in Sydney

Sydney is one of the most popular destinations in Australia with the Opera House being its famous postcard. But together with its tourist spots, there is New Town, a bohemian area where you can check the best street art in town.

You can stumble upon most of the popular murals when visiting. Do not miss out on the enormous Have a Dream Mural bringing forth Martin Luther King’s stirring words to fight for Indigenous Australian civil rights. You can also find another famous graffiti lane on May Lane, St Peters.

Kakadu National Park

Here is one of Australia’s largest protected areas. Also known as the ancient rock paintings, the Kakadu National Park is one of the most impressive sites to be visited in Australia with its, up to 20,000 years old, spectacular landscapes, and rock formations.

You will have the opportunity of taking a guided tour through the ancient Aboriginal art and culture history. Have gorgeous views of the East Alligator River, Ubirr Rock, which is where some of the park’s indigenous rock art is located.

Great Ocean Road

There is no road trip if you do not head straight to this spectacular drive along the southwest coast of Victoria. But where to start with? What makes it pretty special is not only its diverse natural landscapes, or stunning coastal sceneries, but the history spread in the 130km stretch of the Great Ocean Road from Cape Otway through to Port Fairy. It can be quite packed with tourists, but I guess you have plenty of space to make the most of it.

The Witches Garden

Late but not least, one of the most interesting experiences you can have when visiting Australia. Located by the Mitta River, the Witches Garden is one of the most gorgeous spots in Victoria. A quiet e picturesque space to spend some quality time with your family.
