Aquaplanet Waterproof Backpack

I am not going to lie, when I thought about having a new rucksack, I didn’t have anything like this one in mind at all. I was a bit doubtful about its design and practicality. But it seemed I was a bit wrong.

But first things first, Aquaplanet has a range of multifunctional backpacks for work and travel. It’s also the UK’s number 1 seller of stand-up paddleboards. Meaning, they understand people’s needs when it comes to outdoor activities.

When I was sent to review this Aquaplanet’s 25-little waterproof rucksack, I just decided to take it outdoor and give it a try.

So why not take it to the Island of Kerrera, in Scotland, where I have spent my latest holidays – a location that is perfect for joining big walking, and the weather is a bit unpredictable.

I like to be prepared during my hiking, carrying different cameras, food, extra clothes, sunscreen, a reusable bottle of water, and other equipment that need to be protected from the elements when we are outdoors.

I was quite impressed with this backpack. It is more spacious than I imagined, without being bulky. It is quite strong, and I even ended up using it for doing our food shop as well.

The padded adjustable shoulder and chest straps are essential to keep the balance when walking long distances, and it was quite helpful when I was walking around with extra weight on it. I didn’t feel uncomfortable or any pain on my shoulders.

During my stay on the island, all shopping was done in Oban. And if you never visited Kerrera, it’s good to know that only residents can have cars on the island. We did all the shopping trips walking for 40 minutes to go and come back. And my rucksack was a lifesaver.

During the longest walking in the north part of Kerrera, we also faced a rainy track, and I didn’t see any problem carrying it around. It kept my equipment dry, and it still looks in perfect condition after a week of many adventures in Scotland.

Its sleek design with an outside compartment for keeping a bottle of water is another feature to highlight. But it would be perfect if there were some pockets and compartments inside as well for keeping the wallet and keys. The bag is also perfect if you want to keep your belongings safe when taking a ride in one of Aquaplanet’s inflatable paddle boards.
