Holistic and Spiritual Care to Protecting Your Energy

Protecting my energy – that was pretty much how I tried to cope with the madness of 2020 and 2021. After all, if you are not okay, you can’t help anybody else.

Spiritual and energy self-care is just as important as other self-care practices that are already part of everyday life. So, if you like to invest in self-care products, it is always welcome all facets of your energy with the power of herbs and aromatherapy too.

It is important to remember that you should always feed yourself with good energy, good thoughts, and healthy routines and attitudes. Practice some sport, read a good book, meditate, be light, don’t demand or be hard on yourself. Everything is just right as it is.

That is when looking after our mind and soul is so important. We must pay attention to our personal energy. We need to take care of our divine essence and strength, as, in the long run, these dense energies can even lead to more serious pain, loss, depression, and other illnesses.

For this reason, I count on some holistic and spiritual products that bring me the peace and strength that I need to protect my energy. Here are my picks brought from my last trip to Avebury – a World Heritage Site and quite a special pilgrimage spot in the UK.

Palo Santo

For those unfamiliar, Palo Santo (sacred wood) may look like just a stick. But it is much more than that. It can be used as a natural incense or as an essential oil and offers many benefits for the mind as well as the body.

As you can imagine, the origin of the Palo Santo tree is very old and is found mainly throughout the American continent: Mexico, Peru, the Galapagos Islands, Honduras, Costa Rica, Guatemala, and, in large cities, in Ecuador.

It is quite popular in Brazil too. They were used in their religious-spiritual rituals, to attract good luck, to alleviate the negativity, and to achieve better spiritual communication with their hearts. I use Palo Santo to bless the rooms of my home monthly and clear my thoughts.

Sage

Another powerful addition to my list – sage is used in the energetic and therapeutic cleansing that it promotes in environments.

Our house is our place of refuge, so it is also important that we keep the energy of this environment always purified.

Sage (Salvia officinalis) is a perennial subshrub herb native to the Mediterranean region. As sage has a historical reputation as a powerful medicinal herb, it was given the Latin name sage, meaning a cure.

It is filled with positive energy, so your body responds with the same positive vibration and power. As the positively charged smoke from the salvia burn clears the area of negative charges, you may find yourself feeling recharged, inspired, and able to do more than you normally do.

Sage Incense Sticks

As we imagine, white sage has a very special and powerful scent that serves for aromatherapy. If you don’t want to use it for its many properties, you can do it to improve the fragrance of your home using incense. Then open the windows to ventilate.

The main effects of white sage incense are the protection, purification, and balance of body, mind, and spirit. Its aroma brings the energy of renewal and protection to all who feel it, promoting a spiritual connection with the universe.

Spell Candles

Depending on the colour of your candle, you energetically connect to a certain frequency. The meaning of each of the colours is quite different. So, make sure you choose the one that suits you best.

These yellow ones are about success. It is also Suitable to help with attention, studies, and work. Great for those who want to increase their power of concentration. Governs the solar plexus chakra.

Candles help us to create a stronger link with the spirit world as they clear our minds and our auras. That’s why they are widely used in rituals, prayers, and for making requests.

Gemstones

I have read more about the benefits of gemstones only recently. But I wish I was using them for quite a while.

Stones and crystals work as energy amplifiers. Their strength lies in their ability to amplify and direct our own potencies. Therefore, the most important thing in crystal therapy is to be able to tune our vibrations with those of these stones, improving and enhancing our energies.

I have chosen some stones for the whole family this time. Thinking about their birthday months and the benefits that they can bring to each one of them.

Palo Santo Incense

The reason to bring this incense home is the fact that Palo Santo isn’t easy to be found in this country. Sometimes, we just end up using the incense form of it.

Perhaps you have already heard of it but, if you haven’t tried it yet, it’s time to run for cover let’s talk about Palo Santo incense, with its unmistakable scent.

Its benefits are so many that, once you try it, you will never be able to do without it. So, here’s everything you need to know.

Palo Santo is rich in beneficial properties. Its perfume was used during rituals and sacred ceremonies by shamans: it was believed that the smell given off by its smoke was able to remove negative energy and purify the spirit.
