The menstrual collector, also known as a menstrual cup, is a great strategy to replace the absorbent during menstruation, being a more comfortable, economic, and ecological option.
Besides, a reusable menstrual cup maintains the natural moisture of the vagina, since it is easier to enter and leave compared to the internal absorbent. It leaves no smell since the blood does not stay in contact with the air. There is no oxidation, which is responsible for the smell. For this reason, I think any woman should try it at some point.
