Where to Go in Dubai at night?

Let’s be honest, Dubai looks stunning at night. You may have many reasons to visit Dubai, and I am sure that the nightlife in the capital of The United Arab Emirates is a strong one.

The truth is that when the night falls in Dubai, the city is transformed into a paradise of fine dining and fun experiences. With its stunning landscapes, amazing gastronomy, rooftops and trendy nightclubs, Dubai is not a boring destination at all.

You can choose to enjoy a delicious cocktail while watching the sunset, relax at a comedy club or dance the night away at a beach club.

Also, the temperatures are much more pleasant at night, and second, the city becomes a futuristic space with hundreds of illuminated buildings and colourful gardens. Not only that but there is more movement and festive air.

So, while you’re in the UAE’s biggest city, are you wondering where to go at night? I’ll show you the best places to go out in Dubai at night. Here is a selection of things to do, see and where to go in Dubai at night.

 The Dubai Fountain

We can’t deny Dubai is a city of lights. Dubai is a beautiful city, but it is incredibly beautiful at dusk when the lights come on and a new show begins.

One of the richest experiences I had during the trip was being able to see the dancing water show up close, which is in the Dubai Mall (the largest mall in the world), where perfect synchrony between light and sound enchants thousands of spectators.

The streets, stores and the city come to life and move with the light effects that are presented. Led panels and lights with colour synchrony draw people’s attention, in an elegant and ultra-sophisticated way, without harming people’s vision, and brilliantly make a harmonious connection with all the surrounding works.

The Dubai Mall is the largest mall in the world by total area and is located next to the Burj Khalifa building. It can be accessed by taxi or metro via the red line “Burj Khalifa / Dubai Mall” station.

 Dinner in the Sky

To enjoy one of the most original gastronomic experiences in the world? Dining in Dubai is a quite unique experience. And I would recommend you check Square Meal UAE to have a complete list of the best restaurants in this fascinating capital.

But if you want to see this gorgeous city from above, why not have dinner at a height of 40 meters?  Imagine sipping a soda and snacking while your feet are floating in the air. Believe it, it is possible to have dinner in the sky.

Book a seat at the Flying Cup to experience stunning views from the Ain Dubai, which is another of Dubai’s most popular attractions. In fact, after its opening in 2021, this massive panoramic Ferris wheel became the tallest in the world.

If you prefer a more low-key vibe, there are plenty of rooftop bars where you can enjoy a drink while taking in the views.

Night Cruises

For those who like cruises and boat trips, Dubai has excellent options for night cruises and cruise dinners. It’s a perfect opportunity to enjoy the city’s opulent skyline while having the best food aboard.

We all love cruises, and visiting the port of Dubai on one is one of the best experiences you can have there.

Dubai is certainly the city to please all your tastes. It will allow you to enjoy beautiful views and amazing buildings and landmarks.

You can take advantage of the cruise to enjoy a delicious dinner while you have Dubai Bay in the background. This is a great opportunity to experience the city from a new point of view.

An inexpensive way to enjoy a short cruise tour is to take a ferry trip. This is a great way to relax while enjoying the sea breeze and admiring the scenery and all the magnificence of the city of Dubai from the sea.

Dubai Opera

Designed by the Danish architect Janus Rostock, the opera houses the most sought-after international shows, such as Russian ballet and the musicals “Les Misérables”, “Romeo and Juliet” and “Evita”.

With a capacity of 2,000 spectators, the concert hall opened in August 2016. Located in the heart of Downtown Dubai, it is opposite the Burj Khalifa.
