I was looking for a cottage in south west Cornwall for a perfect city escape when I heard about The Hideaway glamping pod.
Glamping pods are quite popular accommodation nowadays but they can also become a bit of nightmare if they’re not well planned from inside and outside. At the same time I thought it could be very adventurous to spend one week in a “hobbit” habitat. Read more.
What can I say about my first experience visiting the Forest of Dean? Well, to start with, we have chosen the best accommodation that could find in the area via airbnb.

Forget about dancing with wolves, at Polar Park in Northern Norway it is all about spending the night with them.
In December the first guests spent the night in a cabin located inside a wolf enclosure, spending the evening in front of the fireplace before stepping out for a wolf kiss the following morning. The WolfLodge consists of six bedrooms for up to 12 people, where visitors will have dinner and be told wolf tales by the local guide while the curious wolves watch from outside. The following morning they will meet the wolves face to face. Read more.
One more successful accommodation found on Airbnb, Paulista Wall Street was the perfect spot to be during the days we spent in Sao Paulo last year.
The criteria to find this place was dead simple: next to Paulista Avenue, cheap and with an awesome view from Sao Paulo’s skyline. Not asking too much, I know.
But I am not going to lie, we were lucky. As soon as I step at Itapeva Street at Bela Vista where it is located, I knew we made a good decision choosing a place only five minutes far from the Trianon – Masp underground station. I confess that airbnb makes my life easier and easier when I have/want to spend only a couple of days in London. Those days of staying in some bog-standard hotel rooms in the central buzzing part of the city were over. I like my accommodation practical, modern and with a wow factor.

Another city, another place to stay with a bit of twist. Amsterdam is a vibrant, modern and historic city. Unfortunately, I just could spend 24 hours there but it was a frantic and enjoyable visit, anyway.
Although public transport in the city is outstanding, we didn’t want to stay central. Our accommodation was a ground floor flat with canal View in the trendy area of Spaarndammerbuurt. Only 10 minutes away from the Central Station and a walking distance to Jordaan, Westerpark and other nice neighbourhoods of Amsterdam. Read more.
