1 – Eco-Friendly Make-Up products, everyone?

We all have friends that are into make-up probably never heard about reusable cotton pads. I used to be this person,  by the way.

But what if I tell you that it’s possible to have Bamboo products – who doesn’t like them? It’s a perfect time to treat her/him with reusable ones.

I confess I’m a bit obsessed with them. Especially when it comes to products that I do use on daily basis. This is the case of the Reusable Bamboo cotton pads.

These are products made of organic bamboo cotton, 100% biodegradable, and compostable.

This is a far better alternative to plastic handles, which take over 500 years to decompose. They are washable, made with no harmful substances, and suitable for any type of skin.

2- Let’s say no to single-use plastic?

This was the year of dreams coming true for someone who is crazy about sparkling water – yes, that’s me. But not just it.

Having a Soda Stream Sparkling Water Maker was also meaning – the end of an era of wasting plastic bottles at my home. Something I always felt guilty about it.

When you heard that Coca Cola was named the world’s most polluting brand in plastic waste, we automatically imagine how serious it’s the situation. We do need to stop using plastic.

So, why not introducing the Soda Stream to your family this Christmas? I doubt they never heard about it, anyway.

You may be aware that SodaStream is a UK company best known as the maker of Soda Stream machines – the devices that allow to us produce home carbonated water and drinks. Besides, it can also make flavoured sodas that will be hit among kids.

Friends and family can start a new year helping to cut down on single-use of plastic Yay! So, why not starting with toiletries?

7- Plastic-Free Kitchen!

That was a quite challenging year for tackling the use of f plastic in my kitchen.

And if there is a product that was worth it to introduce to my kitchenware – it was the famous and practical beeswax wraps. It’s an investment! And goodbye to tin foil and another not-environmentally friend packaging.

9 – Put Some Money Towards Your Favourite Charity Or Donate Items to a Local Food Bank

Nothing can be more rewarding than looking after those we care about – It can be related to nature, animals, or beloved ones who gone through difficult moments. Besides, putting money through charity is always better than spend money on presents wrapped in plastic packaging. 😉

Last month, we’ve lost our beloved Auntie Winifred to cancer after battling it for over two years, and now she’s resting in peace. As part of our annual Christmas donations, we’re sending donations to Cancer Research.

As well as, we also help the Ward Ends Cat Rescue – annually with cat food and Christmas donations. They keep such an amazing job looking after many abandoned cats in Birmingham. And if it was them, we never would have met our beloved cat, Dougal. You can also help them make your donation here.
