We all have friends that is into make-up probably never heard about reusable cotton pads. I used to be this person, by the way.
But what if I tell you that it’s possible to have Bamboo products – who doesn’t like them? It’s a perfect time to treat her/him with reusable ones.
I confess I’m a bit obsessed with them. Especially when it comes to products that I do use on daily basis. This is the case of the Reusable Bamboo cotton pads.
These are products made of organic bamboo cotton, 100% biodegradable and compostable.
This is a far better alternative to plastic handles, which take over 500 years to decompose. They are washable, made with no harmful substances and suitable for any types of skin.
2- Let’s say no to single-use plastic?

This was the year of dreams coming true for someone who is crazy about sparkling water – yes, that’s me. But not just it.
Having a Soda Stream Sparkling Water Maker was also meaning – the end of an era of wasting plastic bottles at my home. Something I always felt guilty about it.
When you heard that Coca Cola was named the world’s most polluting brand in plastic waste, we automatically imagine how serious it’s the situation. We do need to stop using plastic.
So, why not introducing the Soda Stream to your family this Christmas? I doubt they never heard about it, anyway.
You may be aware that SodaStream is a UK company best known as the maker of Soda Stream machines – the devices that allow to us produce home carbonated water and drinks. Besides, it can also make flavoured sodas that will be hit among kids.
3- Eco-Friend Toiletry Subscription Boxes
I confess being a bit obsessed with subscription boxes. And it just get better if we can get our essentials monthly without using plastic. That’s the reason I think subscription boxes are always a great option of Christmas pressie.
Friends and family can start a new year helping to cut down on single-use of plastic Yay! So, why not starting with toiletries?
Blue Rock is a family run business that put their lover for the oceans and sustainable living on a straight-forward, flexible subscription for replacing your household’s toothbrushes with biodegradable, plastic-free brushes – the Blue Rock bamboo toothbrush subscription.
I do love bamboo products in general, as you already noticed in this blog, and I think toothbrushes are essentials that can be a great pressie for anyone giving the first steps on a Eco-friendlier lifestyle!
4- Forget the material. Invest in the Spiritual!
If you not looking for material presents, Sea Soul Blessings cards is a perfect present not only for this Christmas.
But for any time in life. Pippa had just a great idea in delivering remarkable words of wisdom that can be a special and unique gift for everyone in distress or looking for a complete mindfulness.
“At Sea Soul Blessings, we make mindfulness and connecting to nature easy. The cards awaken your ‘blue mind’ – using the power of the sea to increase your calm, focus and clarity.
They can help you to overcome negative thought patterns, and have a positive impact on the world around you – on the people and the places that you love.”
5- Natural Skincare, everyone?
Who doesn’t like organic products and natural beauty? Green People was born from Charlotte Vøhtz’s drive to create truly organic skin care began when her young daughter Sandra was battling multiple skin allergies and eczema.
Its natural skincare range made of natural ingredients that protect, nourish, balance and, most importantly, respect your body.
I’m totally in love with the Natural gift set with Quinoa & Artichoke shampoo, conditioner and body shower. It’s a perfect combo for everyone that wants to embrace a natural and cruelty free skincare treatment.
6- Oh my Woodness! We need Sunglasses!
I don’t know about you, but I’m crazy about sunglasses. And it doesn’t need to be summer to feature some of my favourite models. It’s thinking that way that I was looking for a perfect affordable and fashionable brand to feature in this guide.

That was a quite challenging year for tackling the use f plastic in my kitchen.
And if there is a product that was worth it to introduce to my kitchenware – it was the famous and practical beeswax wraps. It’s an investment! And a goodbye to tin foil and other not-environmentally friend packaging.
The TWFRIC Beeswax Food Wraps are one of the best purchases of the year. Not to mention, it has beautiful patterns and it looks pretty durable. I`ll definitely get more of them to treat my mom.
8- Eco-Friendly Treats for Your Doggos!
I’m sure your pet is also in the list of ones that deserve a treat this Christmas. And isn’t great to know that our dogs can also count on more sustainable presents as well. That’s what why I’m introducing the Collar Club subscription box to this gift guide.
Every Collar Club box will contain between six & eight items, 100% natural and Eco-friendly treats, which vary from month to month. There will always be a surprise toy, a variety of quality treats, some long lasting natural chews and a couple of additional surprises!
9 – Put Some Money Towards Your Favourite Charity Or Donate Items to a Local Food Bank
Nothing can be more rewarding than looking after those we care about – It can be related to nature, animals or beloved ones who gone through difficult moments. Besides, putting money through charity is always better than spend money in presents wrapped in plastic packaging. 😉
Last month, we’ve lost our beloved Auntie Winifred for cancer after battling it for over two years, and now she’s resting in peace. As part of our annual Christmas donations, we’re sending donations to the Cancer Research.
As well as, we also helps the Ward Ends Cat Rescue – annually with cat food and Christmas donations. They keep such an amazing job looking after many abandoned cats in Birmingham. And if it was them, we never would have met our beloved cat Dougal. You can also help them make your donation here.
